What about the Job?

FLAG-MS is looking for electronic engineers to be involved in the develpment of power and signal electronics HW for automotive and industrial applications.
Our electronic boards (analog/digital) are mainly based on programmable logic controller (u-controller, FPGA) and characterized by analog and digital I/O, CAN, Ethernet, Serial communications, sensor signal conditioning. The boards must be designed to be certified according to the standards of the application field. Some application examples are BMS, logic boards for e-Drives (traction systems/accessories), control boards for industrial actuators.
FLAG-MS power electronics developments are usually based on wide band-gap semiconductors (SiC, GaN) to get the best efficiency for the specific application. Some application examples are 48V inverter for small actuators, 800V e-Drives for traction, OBC and DC/DC development.

The main activities concern the board’s design, starting from the application requirements to the specs definition, from the system prototyping and test execution.

More in detail, it is requested to:

  • Perform development of electronic HW boards and equipments;
  • Perform the detailed specification and design of the HW modules, describing technical choices and verifying, by analysis (computations, models, simulation or mock-up), the compliance to input requirements;
  • Define the mechanical solution and the mechanical parts, working together with Mechanical Designer;
  • Define the electrical schematic of the boards, realizing a project in Altium Designer;
  • Define the Bill Of Materials of the system, including creation of the symbols in the Altium Designer;
  • Evaluate the thermal performances and define the better solution for the heat dissipation;
  • Ensure that the design can be manufactured (compliance to DFM – Design For Manufacturing), tested and repaired in case of mass production components;
  • Follow the realization of the prototypes and test them.

Candidate essential skills:

  • Master Degree in Electronic/Electric/Mechatronic Engineering
